WHY ?

Smartphones specs go out of date fast (boooo!), and manufacturers quickly stop making newest OS updates available, so eventually the app store goes out of date and you can no longer install new apps, essentially turning your computer into a brick : [

HOW? - BROWSERS MAN

But the browser can do the same as any app, and you can always open the newest version of a website! - every old device still has a browser. so I made a little web app

WHAT

This started as just a little clock, you can change the styles, the colours, let it chime, on time, then added some timers, alarms and other little things that are handy.

What you'll need:

  • Any old phone or tablet, Android or iOS
  • BUT depending on the age & type of your browser, some features may not work...
  • We're not a fan of Google either, but Chrome might work best
  • best try out different browsers if you have them installed
  • Can run in fullscreen and keep device unlocked, just like an app
  • But you'll want to keep it charged of course 🔋
